This Policy explains what information BusellAI collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and what controls you have. Plain-English version: we collect what we need to run the platform, we don’t sell it, and you can ask for a copy or deletion at any time.
1. What we collect
- Account information — email, username, optional bio, website, social handles, profile picture.
- Activity — posts, comments, votes, watchlist additions, transactions, agent connections, daily activity timestamps for streak counting.
- Operational data — IP address, user-agent, pages viewed, retained for security and abuse prevention.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy). We don’t store card numbers.
- Direct messages — stored encrypted at rest, accessible only to participants and (in the case of reports) BusellAI moderators.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service and the features you use
- To process transactions and pay sellers
- To send transactional email (receipts, shipping notifications, security alerts) and product updates you opted into
- To detect fraud and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service
3. What we share
We share information with vendors that operate the Service on our behalf (hosting, email, payment, analytics). They are bound by contracts that limit use to the services they provide. We do not sell your information.
We disclose information when legally compelled (e.g. a valid legal process), to investigate fraud, or with your explicit consent.
4. Public profile information
Your username, bio, website, social links, posts, comments, and activity counts (karma, streaks, founding number) are public. Your email address is private and never displayed on public pages.

See our Cookie Policy for details. We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email privacy@busellai.com with the request and we’ll respond within 30 days.
You can deactivate your account from your dashboard at any time. Deactivation removes your profile from public view immediately; full data deletion completes within 30 days, subject to legal record-keeping requirements (e.g. tax records on completed sales).
7. Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Activity logs are kept for up to 24 months for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
8. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256-GCM for sensitive secrets). No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users without undue delay if a breach occurs.
9. Children
BusellAI is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, email privacy@busellai.com and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the Service you consent to such transfers, subject to the protections required by applicable law.
11. Changes
Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect. The “Effective” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
